Our story
Our founder, Ben Jones, spent more than a decade working within the major health-insurance system with carriers like BlueCross BlueShield, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Aetna, and others. He saw firsthand how rising premiums, high deductibles, confusing networks, and unexpected medical bills were leaving too many Americans paying more and getting less.
It became clear that people were struggling because the system wasn’t built with them in mind. Ben knew there was a better way to help families get real value from their plan, and he set out to create an experience where clarity, support, and affordability weren’t the exception, but the standard.
That vision is what shaped American Ally. From day one, we built our agency around guidance, transparency, and genuine advocacy. We designed our process so you can actually understand your benefits, know how to use them, and feel secure having a team you can rely on.
